Python Crash Course

This course aims to teach everyone the basics of programming computers using Python. We cover the basics of how one constructs a program from a series of simple instructions in Python. The course has no pre-requisites and avoids all but the simplest mathematics. Anyone with moderate computer experience should be able to master the materials in this course.

This course can serve as basis for the course "Deep Learning Crash Course", which requires basic programming skills.

Stefan is an Analytics Consultant at Accenture's "Applied Intelligence" unit, having advised various clients in healthcare and the financial industry in Switzerland for several years. His focus lies on bridging the gap between data, algorithms and real business value. He has graduated from one of the top universities worldwide, ETH Zurich with a MSc in Computational Physics. In his research he focussed on predictive models for social media inspired by geophysics. Stefan is a German-Thai dual citizen and passionate about technology, education and House music.
Aman Bhattarai
Instructor
Aman is a Business Intelligence Consultant at zeroG - Lufthansa Group's analytics powerhouse. He primarily advises airline executives in solving operational & commercial problems using the power of data visualization. Prior to zeroG, he worked for Amazon in Germany on several analytics projects. He has graduated with a MSc in Industrial Engineering & Supply Chain Management from Jacobs University. He is also a professional career mentor and human-centric innovation coach such as Design Thinking. He is originally from Nepal and is passionate about aviation, intercultural communication and data storytelling.
Kantawong Vuttivorakulchai
Guest Instructor
Kantawong is a senior researcher at Samsung in Korea. His research focus lies on optmizing nano-components by simulating real-device structures and quantum transport. He holds a PhD in Information Technology and Electrical Engineering from ETH Zurich, one of the world's top universities. Kantawong is originally from Thailand and is passionate about financial markets and football.
