Introduction to Machine Learning
In this introductory course we will be going through one of the most popular Data Science courses on the internet, Prof. Andrew Ng’s “Machine Learning” on Coursera. The course covers various aspects of Data Science including Neural Networks - the foundation for "Deep Learning".
The course is organized in two modules of one week each. The first module will cover the Machine Learning basics, the second module Advanced Machine Learning. You may take either module in-class or remotely according to your schedule and needs.

Who is this DSBC for?
The camp is for people who are motivated to take a first serious step towards becoming a data scientist - or any role involving making more advanced predictions with data. You do not need to have a prior scientific education or rigorous math or coding skills. We will review all of the necessary concepts and practice together.
What is the curriculum?
The course is organized in two 1-week modules whose chapters are based on one of the most popular data science course on the internet, Prof. Andrew Ng's "Machine Learning (Standford University, Coursera)". The course has an average rating of 4.9 (out of 5) and about 4.1 million (!) people have enrolled in the course. Depending on your interest you can either take either module or both. In the course of the application we will check for your background and motivation by means of an online interview to make sure we offer the best experience possible for you. Note that we are accepting only up to 15 participants. Only after you have been accepted, the tuition will be due.
What does it all cost?
Applying via signing up to this event is for free. Upon successful admission the tuition fee of 400 USD for the full 2-weeks course will be due (refundable) - or 200 USD per module/week (in case you want to join only the advanced part). Will I get a certificate at the end?
An optional certificate on completion issued by Stanford University (!) that you can share on LinkedIn etc. can be directly purchased on Coursera for 79 USD.
